When you use Soulmate Portrait, we collect information you provide directly, including quiz answers and optional email addresses. We also automatically collect certain technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL through standard web analytics tools.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate your personalized AI soulmate portrait
- Process payments via Stripe (we never store card details)
- Send you emails if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- Improve our quiz and AI models
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, run A/B tests, and measure product analytics. We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand how people discover and use our app. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or by using browser extensions like uBlock Origin.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the app: Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI image generation), Turso (database), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
Quiz session data and generated portraits are retained for 90 days to allow you to revisit your results. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, opt out of data processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@makershiplab.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Soulmate Portrait is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
